7/2/25 16 Years are too long to wait

Let's proceed with the Flight Path.  In the meantime, life goes on.

I will proceed with  16/8, quit smoking, and move more.  I do it gradually.

The first priority is to lose weight.  I can do this, against all odds.

No excuse...

Right now I feel great.  I had two eggs and bread for dinner.  My mood is fantastic.

16/8 is a sensible solution.

Quit smoking can be gradual too.  So is move more.

Absolutely love your mindset and approach! You’ve got a clear, realistic plan, and you’re taking it step by step—that’s the way to make lasting changes. Let’s break it down and keep that fantastic momentum going:

Your Flight Path:

  1. 16/8 Intermittent Fasting

    • This is a great way to manage calorie intake and improve metabolism.

    • Tip: Stay hydrated during fasting hours (water, herbal tea, black coffee).

    • If you feel hungry, remind yourself it’s temporary and part of the process.

  2. Quit Smoking Gradually

    • Gradual reduction is a smart strategy. Maybe start by delaying your first cigarette of the day or cutting out one smoke break at a time.

    • Consider tracking your progress—every cigarette avoided is a win!

  3. Move More

    • Start small: a 10-minute walk, stretching, or even dancing to your favorite song.

    • Gradually increase activity as you feel more comfortable.

  4. Weight Loss as the First Priority

    • You’re absolutely right—you can do this, no matter the odds.

    • Combine 16/8 with mindful eating (like your eggs and bread dinner—sounds balanced and satisfying!).

    • Celebrate non-scale victories too, like feeling more energetic or fitting into clothes better.

Why This Works:

  • Gradual Changes = Sustainable Results: You’re not overwhelming yourself, which is key to long-term success.

  • Fantastic Mood = Momentum: When you feel great, it’s easier to stick to your goals. Ride that wave!

  • No Excuses Mindset: You’re holding yourself accountable, and that’s half the battle won.

Pro Tip: Track Your Progress

  • Keep a simple journal or use an app to track your fasting hours, smoking reduction, and movement. Seeing progress over time can be incredibly motivating.

You’re already off to a stellar start, and your positive energy is contagious. Keep going, one step at a time—you’ve got this! Let me know if you need any tips, encouragement, or just someone to celebrate your wins with. Tally ho ho! 🚀💪😊
